Căutând una-alta prin dulapul cu materiale, am dat peste nişte camee cumpărate în urmă cu vreo 2 ani, când pandantivele cu camee realizate atunci, erau foarte apreciate şi cumpărate. Aveam atâtea cereri, că la un moment dat, m-am săturat de ele şi nici nu am mai vrut să le văd. :) A fost benefică această pauză lungă, fiindcă găsindu-le, mi s-a făcut iar poftă de realizat monturi. Camee-le le-am lăsat în urmă, şi am vrut să fac o mini serie de coliere cu pietre semipreţioase cu montură de sârmă argintată, păstrând stilul sofisticat al camee-lor, dar oferindu-le o interpretare mai modernă. When I was looking for some stuff in my closet full of materials, I came across some cameos that I bought a couple of years ago, when cameo pendants made back then, were very much appreciated. I used to have so many cameo commissions that I couldn't stand them anymore and I stopped making them. Finding them after such a long time, made me wanna do mounts again. I left cameos behind, and started making a small series of necklaces with semiprecious stones, mounted in silver plated wire, keeping the sophisticated style of cameos, but giving them a more modern approach.
